

Voter registration begins with the scanning of the voter application forms and adding the images of the forms into the system. The images are then linked to voters (new voters may be added into system as needed). The voters' signatures are also located on the registration forms as part of this process. The system is capable of storing several images of the registration forms and one signature for every voter.

The Populex® Voter Registration supports two ways to store images:
- Special table in the system database
- Shared folder on the system server
Although the second approach is potentially less secure, it facilitates access to the images from other applications and allows the system database to function faster. The hard disk space required to store images is proportional to the number of voters. Read More...
